62 nonprofits to be honored at BEMC Community Grants Luncheon
SUPPLY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation (BEMC) is investing $90,000 into the future of Brunswick County, funding 62 local organizations that are tackling some of the community’s most pressing needs, from food insecurity to education and public safety.
The funding marks a milestone for BEMC’s Community Grants program, which has now surpassed $1 million in total awards since its launch in 2003.
Grant recipients will be recognized at the annual Community Grants Luncheon on Tuesday, March 31 at BEMC headquarters in Supply.
