What’s happening across the cape fear this weekend

Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — Whether it’s meeting up to deck out your ride, hitting up the bingo halls to win a new clutch, or spending the end of the weekend mingling with beings from across the galaxy, here are some ways you can make the most of your weekend in the Cape Fear.

On Friday Waterline Brewery will host a Jeep meetup full of duck scavenger hunts, specialty cocktails…or even just to show off your wheels to other jeep owners and admirers.

The event is free and  starts at 5 P.M. and goes until 9 pm at 721 Surry Street.

If you’re searching for a new accessory, you may have a chance to win one, as the Gio Fund event center will be hosting a designer purse bingo on Saturday .

Doors open at 5 P.M., with early bird games start at 6, and regular bingo beginning at 6:30.

Tickets are $20. prizes include designer bags such as Coach,Kate Spade, Steve Madden, and many more.

Gio Fund members and dog and cat food donations can earn participants extra single sheets.

Finally, on Sunday you can head back to Waterline Brewery for some out of this world discoveries and a celebration of all things geeky at the Mothership Market.

The free event starts at 12 P.M. and goes until 4 P.M. at 721 Surry Street and will be free to all humans, aliens, and droids alike.
