Massive power outage affects thousands of Leland residents

Leland, NC (WWAY) — According to Duke Energy’s power outage map, around 10 p.m. last night a vehicle damaged equipment and caused a massive power outage for thousands of Leland residents.

According to Duke Energy’s website, power is set to be restored by 1 p.m.
