Brunswick Little Theatre to host actors’ roundtable in Southport July 25

Southport, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick Little Theatre will host an Actors’ Roundtable on July 25, offering performers and aspiring actors an opportunity to discuss various aspects of community theater and stage performance.

The event is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Brunswick Little Theatre, located at 8068 River Road in Southport. The roundtable will take place in Classroom 1B, located behind the theater.

According to organizers, the event is designed as an open discussion rather than a formal acting class. Topics are expected to include audition preparation, memorization techniques, character development, rehearsal strategies and other aspects of theatrical performance.

Organizers say the event is intended for both experienced performers and those interested in learning more about participating in community theater productions.

The discussion will be moderated by Lisa McCoy, an actor with Brunswick Little Theatre.

Registration is available online through Brunswick Little Theatre’s education program. The registration deadline is July 20.
