UNCW Swim and Dive announces free swim course for later this month
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The UNCW Swim and Dive Team, presented by the Wilmington Swim Academy, will host a free community water safety school for children ages 6 to 12.
The program will run Monday, Aug. 24, through Thursday, Aug. 27.
Organizers encourage participants to attend all four classes, saying water safety skills require consistency and practice.
Families must RSVP by Wednesday, Aug. 19. Registered participants will receive confirmation and additional event information before the program begins.
