Wilmington Jewish Community Center to hold groundbreaking celebration for new site

Wilmington, NC (WWAY) —  The Wilmington Jewish Community Center is preparing to mark the beginning of a new chapter with a groundbreaking celebration this weekend.

The Wilmington JCC will hold the event Sunday, August 23rd, at 11 a.m. at 2317 Market St. in Wilmington.

According to an event announcement, the groundbreaking will bring together community members, supporters and friends to recognize the milestone.

Light refreshments are expected to be served following the ceremony.

The event is scheduled for August 23rd, which corresponds with Elul 10 on the Hebrew calendar.
