RJ Decker production to film in Carolina Beach Thursday
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Cast and crew of ABC’s RJ Decker will be filming in Carolina Beach on Thursday, Aug. 27, with production expected to cause minor traffic delays in the area.
Filming will take place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. along the 1200 block of Lake Park Boulevard South.
Police officers will be on site throughout the day to assist with traffic control and help maintain access for residents, visitors and mail carriers.
Several town parking lots will also be closed Thursday:
- Harbor Master Lot
- Hamlet Lot: West side only. The east side and public restrooms will remain open.
- Tennessee Lot: Closed Wednesday, Aug. 26, through Friday, Aug. 28.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan for possible delays when traveling through the area.
The Town of Carolina Beach thanked the community for its patience and cooperation as the production team films in the area.
