WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A new fall food event featuring Wilmington-area chefs is scheduled to debut in November.

Feast Wilmington announced Fall Feast: Autumn in the South, set for Saturday, Nov. 7, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Canterbury Stables, 6021 Wrightsville Ave.

Organizers say participating chefs will prepare dishes based on their interpretation of fall and Southern cuisine. Guests will be able to sample the dishes and vote for a People’s Plate Award.

The event is expected to feature chefs from several Wilmington restaurants, including Benny’s Big Time Pizzeria, Castle Street Kitchen, Covey, Coquina Fishbar, G Prime Steak & Cellar, King Neptune, Pine Valley Market, Salt + Charm, Solstice Kitchen + Cocktails, South Front Tavern and The Pilot House.

The announcement lists 11 participating chefs, although event materials describe the event as featuring 12 chefs.

The event will also include a welcome reception, dessert, beer, wine and live music. Organizers say attendees must be 21 or older.

Jessica Maurer, director of Feast Wilmington, said the organization wanted to add a competition element after receiving feedback from attendees and participating chefs at previous Feast events.

“Fall Feast gives us the opportunity to host a competition-style event at a venue that perfectly suits the spirit of the evening,” Maurer said in a statement.

Feast Wilmington began with a three-day food and beverage festival in 2024 and has since expanded its programming.

Organizers say parking will not be available at the venue and attendees will need to use rideshare transportation.
