Pender County Health Department offers extended hours for back-to-school immunizations

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — The Pender County Health Department will hold a one-day extended-hours Back-to-School Immunization Clinic Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at its Burgaw and Hampstead locations.

The extended hours will give families additional time to make sure their children are up to date on vaccines required for school.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to review their child’s immunization records and address any missing vaccinations.

The clinic will be held at:

• Burgaw: 298 Progress Drive, Burgaw, NC 28425
• Hampstead: 15060 U.S. 17, Hampstead, NC 28443
