Lane of Randall Parkway to close overnight for sewer work

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Drivers traveling along Randall Parkway should expect a lane closure Thursday night as crews replace a sewer service.

Cape Fear Public Utility Authority says the inner eastbound lane in the 4800 block of Randall Parkway will close beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17.

The closure will be between South Kerr Avenue and Pepy’s Lane, with eastbound traffic shifted into the outer lane.

Left turns from Collegiate Lane onto Randall Parkway will also be blocked during the work. U-turns for westbound traffic will not be allowed in the work area.

Driveways to residences within the work zone will remain accessible.

CFPUA expects the closure to remain in place for approximately eight hours.
