Leland Fall Festival to bring trick-or-treating, pumpkins and more to Founders Park
LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Families can celebrate the fall season with trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting, live entertainment and more at the Town of Leland’s Fall Festival next month.
The free event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Founders Park, 113 Town Hall Drive.
Entertainment begins at 3 p.m. with the Wilmington Latin Dance Club leading a Day of the Dead-inspired Latin dance. Festivalgoers will be invited to join the group on the dance floor.
A trick-or-treat trail will feature booths from community organizations handing out treats to children.
Other activities include face painting, a pumpkin patch where guests can select and paint a pumpkin, yard games and a potato sack race.
Several food trucks are also scheduled to attend, including Revival Roadside, Mimi & Papa’s Gourmet Popcorn and Sweet Shop, Tropical Whip and KT’s BBQ.
Parking will be available at Founders Park and First Baptist Church, located at 517 Village Road NE.
Pets, alcohol, tobacco products, vapes and other e-cigarette products are prohibited at the event.
