Brunswick County deputies searching for missing 22-year-old woman

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a 22-year-old woman who was last confirmed seen in the Calabash area.
Deputies are searching for Kayla Hill, who was last seen Saturday, Oct. 3, on Hickman Road in Calabash.
According to the sheriff’s office, Hill may have also been spotted Wednesday, Oct. 7, along South Ocean Boulevard in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Hill is described as approximately 5 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing around 110 pounds, with green eyes and curly sandy blonde or dyed dark brown hair.
She has a tattoo reading “Dakota” on her right arm and butterfly tattoos on her left arm.
Hill was last seen wearing a white cardigan or sweater with unknown bottoms and may have been carrying a backpack.
Investigators say Hill may be accompanied by a woman identified as Elizabeth Locklear. No additional identifying information about Locklear was provided beyond her description as a white woman.
Hill’s method of transportation and direction of travel remain unknown.

Deputies are encouraging residents, particularly those in the Calabash and North Myrtle Beach areas, to share information that could help locate her.
