Wilmington restaurant to be featured on America’s Best Restaurants

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington restaurant will be featured in an upcoming episode of America’s Best Restaurants, a national media and marketing company that highlights independently owned restaurants.

Tequila Comida & Cantina, located at 5607 Carolina Beach Road, is scheduled to host the America’s Best Restaurants Roadshow on Nov. 13.

The visit will include an on-camera interview with owners and chefs Ramon and Miguel A. Villasenor, who will discuss the restaurant and its role in the community.

The restaurant’s menu focuses on dishes inspired by different regions of Mexico. The upcoming feature is expected to include several menu items, including pescado in banana leaf, osso bucco and fusion sushi asada.

The restaurant also offers a selection of tequilas and cocktails.

America’s Best Restaurants says the completed episode will be released later on its social media channels, website and YouTube page. A premiere date has not yet been announced.

The Nov. 13 filming will be open to the public and media.
