Abandoned house catches fire

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — An abandoned house caught fire Friday afternoon on Fontana Road near Tahoe Road and Ashley High School. According to Ray Griswald of the New Hanover County Fire Department, crews are still investigating the cause of the fire. Firefighters were still putting out hot spots underneath the floor of the house late this afternoon. No one was injured.
