Abduction suspect still on the run

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for the man they say abducted his two children. Detectives say D.B. White took his two young sons from their mother’s home Wednesday night triggering an Amber Alert. The boys were returned home 12 hours later, after detectives negotiated their safe release.

White is still on the run, while the Sheriff’s Office determines what charges he will face.
