WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — ACCESS of Wilmington is hosting a one-of-a-kind inclusive event on Saturday, May 31.

A Miracle Meet-Up will feature Tanner Smith, a star of the hit Netflix series Love on the Spectrum, alongside his mother and advocate Nicci Smith, in a heartfelt and inspiring Question & Answer session.

Also joining the conversation is Mark McGrew, a close friend of Tanner’s since their time together at Clemson University, who joined ACCESS of Wilmington as the Director of Development this year.

Their candid conversations will explore themes of inclusion, friendship, and living life with purpose.

ACCESS of Wilmington adds that this event will include fun for all ages and abilities.

There will be field games with the Wilmington Sharks, a lunchtime dance party featuring Z107.5 and hotdogs from J. Michael Phillies Deli.

“This event is more than just a meet-and-greet,” said McGrew. “It’s a celebration of community and the impact of creating spaces where everyone feels a sense of belonging. Tanner is one of
the most authentic and kind people I’ve ever met. It’s been incredible to see the world recognize his spirit, and there’s truly no one better fit to ‘bring the joy’ than Tanner.”

The event is happening from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 31 at the Miracle Field of Wilmington at Olsen Park.

Registration is $25 and limited to 200 participants.

Visit www.accessilm.org to register.

For those not able to attend, the Question and Answer session will be live streamed on the ACCESS of Wilmington Facebook page.
