Accident at Pages Creek Marine leaves one dead

A workplace accident killed a Wilmington man Thursday night.

New Hanover County Sheriff’s deputies and EMS responded to the call at Pages Creek Marine on Market Street around 5:00 p.m.

Twenty-five-year old Ryan Church was aligning a boat and trailer when the boat fell, trapping him between the vessel and trailer. Church was pronounced dead on the scene.
