Accidents tie up evening traffic

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Traffic in Wilmington seemed more dangerous and slow than usual Tuesday evening. That might be because New Hanover County dispatchers said there were several crashes.

The one at Kerr Avenue and MLK Parkway caused a back up. However, dispatchers say none of the accidents caused any injuries.

No word on what led to the accidents, but drivers said it was raining intermittently all day.
