Adventure Sprint at Greenfield Lake Park
People in search of an adventure found it Saturday at the seventh annual Adventure Sprint held at Greenfield Lake Park.
Teams of two competed in five legs of the competition: running, biking, canoeing, and two mystery events.
Event coordinator Andrea Talley said the Adventure Sprint was for people looking for an exciting way to spend the day. “Anybody who’s up for an adventure. We have people from all across the state participate today. People who love to run and bike and feel challenged with the canoe usually.”
The race covered more than 21 miles of ground and lasted three hours. Winners were rewarded with gift certificates and medals.
