Air pollution warning issued in much of N.C.

RALEIGH (AP) — North Carolina health officials are warning that air pollution across much of the state could be unhealthy for sensitive groups again tomorrow.

A Code Orange alert has been issued for Charlotte, Hickory, the Triad and Triangle metropolitan areas.

Forecasters are predicting air quality that could be unhealthy for children, people who exercise or work outdoors and people with respiratory ailments.
