All cars welcome at Southport Lions Club Centennial Car Show
SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — Show off your cars, trucks and motorcycles and help the Southport Lions Club wipe out blindness.
This weekend is the Lions Club Centennial Car Show. According to the event website, the goal is to raise enough money to buy a vision spot machine to detect vision problems in children.
The family-friendly car show is Saturday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. James Community Center (4136 Southport-Supply Rd., Southport NC – along Hwy. 211).
If you’d like to register a car, truck or motorcycle to be in the show, it’s $20 and you must fill out a registration form here. You can make a check payable to Southport Lions Club Foundation and mail payment to P.O. Box 10187, Southport, NC 28461.
Judges will look at the cars from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and give out awards between 3 and 4 p.m.
Food and refreshments will be available and there will also be live music.
