Another Chinese restaurant delivery person robbed on 15th Street

Time: 10:04 p.m. – Friday night

Offense: Robbery

Summary: A delivery driver for a local Chinese restaurant (Main Moon) arrived to make a delivery at the listed address. He reported that when he walked up on the porch, a man came up behind him and stuck some object in his back, demanding money.

The victim said the two began to struggle, and then the robber pushed the victim away and ran to the victim’s car. When he was unable to start the car, he got out and walked away, heading north on S. 15th Street. The victim was uninjured, but the robber took the food as well as the victim’s cell phone and $5.

The victim drove back to the restaurant and called 911. While processing the victim’s car for evidence, officers found a toy gun. The only suspect description is for a heavy set black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Another restaurant deliverer was robbed on the same street last week.
