Area New Year’s Eve celebrations

SOUTHEASTERN, NC (WWAY) — People across Southeastern North Carolina will be ringing in 2025 Tuesday night.
While countless restaurants, bars and entertainment venues are holding New Year’s Eve celebrations, many of them are have a cost associated, or you’ll need reservations.
Here are a few happening New Year’s Eve that are FREE:
11am– Museum of Coastal Carolina and Town of Ocean Isle Beach Noon Year’s Eve Celebration- Town Center Park- Celebration includes making festive party noise maker wands, enjoying refreshments and prizes, and dancing the morning away until an exciting countdown to “Noon Year” at 12 p.m. sharp.
5pm– New Year’s Eve Blueberry Drop- Downtown Burgaw- Event will occur on Fremont Street adjacent to the Pender County Courthouse. Bourbon Sons will be performing. Parking is available downtown in all open and legally marked areas. No outside coolers are allowed at the event. No pets allowed. Properly marked service animals allowed. Visitors encouraged to bring blankets or chairs for viewing the concert and fireworks display. Fireworks display will start shortly after 7:00 pm.
9pm-Island of Lights New Year’s Eve Celebration- Carolina Beach- Carolina Beach Avenue S. & Harper Avenue, Carolina Beach Boardwalk- The celebration begins at 9pm. Family friendly event will feature a DJ and dancing. Giant beach ball drop at midnight, followed by a fireworks display.
