Arrest made for Hillcrest murder

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington man was arrested for Thursday night’s murder of Anthony Lafrance Devone in the Hillcrest community.

Wilmington Police Department arrested Willis Davis Pridgen, 44, Saturday afternoon at 6 North Lincoln Court. Pridgen is charged with first degree murder for killing Devone.

Pridgen is being held without bond in the New Hanover County detention facility.
