Arrest made in attempted robbery turned deadly shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police arrest a man in connection with an attempted robbery turned deadly shooting.

Jamarcus Fogal is in the New Hanover County Jail under a $500,000 bond and faces charges multiple charges including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Officers say Fogal was involved in an attempted robbery on 420 Raleigh Street a few weeks ago.

Frankie Stukes, who police say tried to rob a man, was shot and killed by the victim in the parking lot.
