Arrest made in nail salon shooting


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police said an arrest has been made in a shooting that started as a fight outside of a nail salon.

A WPD spokeswoman said Shalindra Nicole Williams, 23, is facing charges in the incident that happened in March at the Food Lion plaza in the 1900 block of Oleander Drive. No one was hurt in the shooting, but a vehicle was damaged by the bullet. Jail records show she was arrested Saturday.

Williams is facing charges including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. She was booked on a $17,000 bond.
