Arrest made in attempted robbery of Carolina First Bank

New Hanover County detectives have made an arrest in the attempted bank robbery of the Carolina First Bank last month.

Investigators have charged 39-year-old, Peter Louis Chiban, of Wilmington, with the attempted robbery.

He is being held in the New Hanover County Jail under a $15,000 secured bond.
