Arrest made in Brunswick marijuana bust

Brunswick County narcotics detectives have made an arrest in last week’s marijuana camp bust.

Fifty-four year old William James Burney of Supply was charged with two counts of trafficking marijuana, one count of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver, plus one count of manufacturing marijuana.

More than 150 pounds of marijuana was seized from the woods near green swamp on Friday, worth more than $200,000.

Burney is being held under $210,000 bond.
