Arrest nabs man in alleged Chuck E. Cheese robbery

A Wilmington man is scheduled to make his first court appearance Monday for allegedly robbing Chuck E. Cheese’s on Oleander Drive last week.

After broadcasting the surveillance photos Thursday, police got a tip that lead to Friday’s arrest of Oliver Bragg.

Bragg is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. The robbery happened around noon Thursday. Police said Bragg approached the counter when no customers were around, told the clerk he had a gun and demanded money.

Bragg is in the New Hanover County Jail under a $250,000 bond.
