Attorneys make closing arguments in Boggess retrial

Attorneys made closing arguments this morning in the retrial of Todd Boggess.

Boggess is accused of killing Wilmington honors student Danny Pence in a ploy to steal his car in 1995.

A jury convicted Boggess in 1997 and gave him the death penalty. But the state Supreme Court overturned that conviction.

Boggess is once again facing first-degree murder charges.

No word on when the jury will get the case, or how long deliberations are expected to last.
