A weather enthusiast all of her life, Christina put her passion to work at WWAY in September of 2012. She called Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania home, but couldn't wait to trade crisp autumns and cold winters for a beautiful beach town. Christina believes weather affects everyone, every day—and that is important. She takes pride in communicating the weather to her viewers and potentially protecting viewer lives. Christina went to college close to home at The Pennsylvania State University and earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Meteorology. She actively participated in Campus Weather Service, a student run organization at Penn State. Christina also interned at WTAE in Pittsburgh for two consecutive summers. When she isn’t forecasting, Christina enjoys spending time with her friends and family, watching her hometown Steelers, and going for a long run. Christina also loves animals and finally adopted her very own kitten in August of 2014. His name is Shark, fitting for her Topsail home.
