Jenna Kurzyna was born in Florida but considers herself a Carolina girl. She moved to the Piedmont area of North Carolina as a young child and grew up in Claremont. Jenna has always had a passion for reporting, which led her to study at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. As a child she always wanted to help out others. She did this by sharing stories with the community. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Journalism. While attending UNCW she interned at WWAY before joining the team as a reporter in April 2017. If she has any free time you can find Jenna at the beach or at the movies. She enjoys running and being outdoors. The one thing she couldn't live without is coffee. In the future Jenna wants to travel as much as possible. She has been to Ireland and wants her next stop to be Greece. Jenna is excited to be a part of the WWAY team and is more than happy to be living on the coast.
