Autopsy preformed on UNCW student

WILMINGTON — A Jacksonville medical examiner performed an autopsy Thursday on the UNCW student found dead in his dorm room Wednesday morning.

Eighteen-year-old William Sword was found dead by his roommate in their room in Galloway Hall.

Thursday the medical examiner says Sword had no signs of physical trauma and no signs of disease.

Blood tests are being done on the teen to see if drugs could have contributed to his death.

University officials say sword’s death poses no threat to the community or to students.
