Autopsy results of body found in freezer

Preliminary autopsy results are back for 80-year-old Elloise Wentz.

She was found dead in a freezer Wednesday night.

Elloise was the mother of Alexander Wentz. He was found dead in his Monkey Junction home on Monday.

While trying to inform Ms. Wentz of her son’s death, sheriff deputies found her body in a freezer in Mr. Wentz’s home.

Sheriff deputies sent her body for an autopsy in Chapel Hill.

The preliminary results show no signs of foul play.

The investigation is still ongoing, and we will update you when we know more.
