Azalea Festival concert stage rises

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The main stage for this week’s Azalea Festival concerts is taking shape.

Crews started setting it up in a parking lot at Cape Fear Community College this morning.

Lynyrd Skynyrd will bring some southern rock to the stage Thursday.

The Avett Brothers change the tune Friday night with some indie folk rock.

Then country-rapper Colt Ford will finish the Azalea concert series on Saturday.
