Azalea Festival sells out Pre-Festival Party

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Pre-Festival Party to the Azalea Festival at the Hilton Wilmington Riverside was a sellout.

The band Sleeping Booty played for an estimated 800 people.

Robby Collins, vice president of the festival, said they sold out the Pre-Festival Party, and this could be the best year so far.

“We always have big concerts,” Collins said. “This year we’re excited to have Widespread Panic.”

The Azalea Festival is April 9-13.
