Bald Head Coffee celebrates grand opening of new storefront

BOILING SPRING LAKES (News Release) — A grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting was held November 14th at Bald Head Coffee & Tea House in Boiling Spring Lakes.
Owners Steve and Pam Lewis welcomed dozens of well-wishers to the company’s new stand-alone, drive-thru coffee bar and patio.
Located in the Fifty Lakes Commerce Center facing Highway 87, the café offers a range of beverages including coffees, fresh teas, smoothies, frappes, and nitro cold brew, as well as breakfast sandwiches, ready-to-go salads and wraps, and gelato.
Bald Head Coffee has been in business in Southport for the past three and a half years, operating an online subscription service, as well as selling through retailers across the U.S.
Urged by customers to open a storefront, the couple decided to move into the new storefront.
“Our goal is to give our customers a beverage experience; we pair the beverages with an extensive menu and plan to have special events including music,” said Steve Lewis.
They have twenty four seats inside including the coffee bar and twenty four seats on the dog-friendly patio.
Excited about this location, Lewis points out there’s plenty of parking and the drive-through is convenient for customers to grab a brew on the go.
“We have customers now who drive an hour to get the beans,” he said. “Boiling Spring Lakes is the perfect spot, and this is a beautiful building so we thought it would be a good location for us to grow.”
Bald Head Coffee & Tea House will be, and is certified an Ocean Friendly establishment, giving back to sea turtles and keeping oceans clean.
