Bald Head ferry fares going up
BALD HEAD ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — The cost of a trip to Bald Head Island is going up in the new year. Today, the NC Public Utilities Commission signed off on the request.
Starting January 1, a regular roundtrip ticket will jump to $23 from the current price of $16. Bald Head Island Transportation had wanted the fare to go to $28.
Children’s tickets go up from $9 to $12. The excess baggage fee increases from $15 to $23.
