Barth released by Chiefs

Wilmington native Connor Barth has been waived by the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs, just four days prior to the start of training camp.

Barth was on the way to Kansas City when he was told the bad news.

Connor attended Hoggard High before attending UNC.

Barth was successful on 10 of 12 field goal attempts for the Chiefs last season.
