Battleship car meet draws a crowd

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A car meet and photo shoot drew a large crowd outside the battleship Saturday afternoon.

Car enthusiasts from around the area showed up, to show off their cars. Photographers and drones were also on scene to photograph the cars.

“We just wanted to do something a little more interactive for the public, to get some more people out here and get some photos,” said Robert Dahms who organized the event.
