Battleship North Carolina comes to life

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The USS North Carolina hosted “Battleship Alive” this weekend. The entire crew dressed in uniform to bring a little bit of history back to life.

The crew also gave insight into the daily life and routine of the people aboard the USS North Carolina in the past. One man said he looks forward to these events.
He enjoys dressing in uniform and thinks it makes the battleship experience unique.

“It gives them a much better feeling of what was going on here,” said Michael Zalob. “We are able to answer questions and do some play acting and by being in uniform, it just make it a little more authentic for them.”
