Battleship goes ‘Batty’ for Halloween tonight
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Trick-or-treaters will have a chance to get some sweet treats tonight at the Battleship North Carolina. The Battleship is hosting its 2nd Annual Batty Battleship Bash. The party begins at 5:30 p.m.
Children of all ages can come and trick or treat on the ship. There’ll be games, bounce houses a petting zoo and lots of candy.
More than a thousand people came out for last year’s event.
“This year we are hoping for just as many kids and families to come through,” Battleship spokeswoman Danielle Wallace said. “We think it’s a safe place to come for halloween fun, and I love seeing the trick-or-treaters in their costumes and how creative people can be.”
The Batty Battleship Bash is five dollars per person. Children two and under are free.
