BCC’s Greiner leaving for Kentucky
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick Community College will soon join UNC Wilmington in looking for a new leader. BCC president Stephen Greiner has accepted a job to be president at Hazard Community and Technical College in Hazard, KY, according to HCTC’s website.
Greiner was chosen for the HCTC job over two other finalists. Last month he interviewed as a finalist for the president’s job at Sussex County Community College. Shortly after his trip to the school’s Newton, NJ, campus, Greiner withdrew his application.
Greiner has been president at BCC since 2005.
