FUGITIVE FILES UPDATE: Man wanted for gun theft surrenders

UPDATE: After seeing his picture on TV Tuesday night, Jonathan Blake Kohler turned himself in to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday. He is in jail under $40,000 bond.

SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County Sheriff’s detectives are searching for a man charged with three counts of larceny of a firearm. Jonathan Blake Kohler of Murrells Inlet, SC, is charged with stealing two shotguns and a rifle from 4468 Pigott Road in Shallotte some time in April.

Shallotte police have additional charges on Kohler from the same incident. Anyone who sees or knows where Kohler is should call their local law enforcement agency or the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 253-2777.
