Beach Bag Bandits get nabbed, property recovered

Thanks to one of our viewers, Wrightsville Beach detectives have nabbed the Beach Bag Bandits we told you about Monday.

Monday night, a tip led detectives to arrest 23-year-old Joshua Barnts and 20-year-old Brandon Cordell of Wilmington.

Authorities said they recovered the missing bags, and thousands of dollars of stolen property in a dumpster off College Road, and at the suspects’ residence.
