Benefit Concert

Listening to an orchestra is always a sweet sound, but when proceeds go to a good cause, the music sounds even sweeter.

This afternoon many local young musicians joined the Tallis Chamber Orchestra in a benefit concert.

The concert was at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Wilmington.

Dozens of people came to listen to the concert and all donations went to benefit the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center.

Students involved in the concert ranged from elementary to high school age and they performed music by Mozart and Bach.
