BHI appoints new village manager

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Village of Bald Head Island has a new manager, but it’s a familiar face.

On Tuesday at a special meeting, Assistant Village Manager Chris McCall was appointed to the main role. McCall has worked for the Brunswick County island since 2004.

The special meeting to appoint McCall comes after previous village manager, Calvin Peck, resigned earlier this month.
