Big Talker FM names new morning host
WILMINGTON – Paul Knight, Vice-president and General Manager, of Sea-Comm Media, owner of F.M. radio station “The BIG Talker F.M.”, announced the departure of show host Rob Kendal today. Chad Adams was named as the new host of the popular morning radio talk show.
Mr. Knight said, “Rob came to us at a very stressful time and agreed to host the morning show. We both agreed not to make a long term commitment for reasons on both sides.” Mr. Knight continued, “Rob made the decision to leave in part because of the two successful businesses owned by he and his partner. Sea-Comm and I personally appreciated Rob stepping up to a challenging situation. He is a very professional person and we look forward to doing other projects with Rob in the future.”
Chad Adams comes to Sea-Comm from American’s For Prosperity (AFPNC), North Carolinas most active grass roots organization, as their Chief Development Officer for North Carolina. Adams also served as the Director of the Center for Local Innovation, Vice-president for Development for the John Locke foundation, and former Vice-Chairman of the Lee County Board of Commissioners. He was first elected a commissioner in 1998 and recently completed his second term. He is a graduate of UNCW, attended graduate school at NC State University and is a Fellow of the NC Institute of Political Leadership.
In 2002 Chad was recognized by the NC Junior Chamber of Commerce as one of five Outstanding Young North Carolinians for his political and community work and was recognized by the National Junior Chamber of Commerce as one of America’s Outstanding Young Leaders with the Charles Kulp Memorial Award in 1998.
Chad has appeared on CNBC as well as numerous television stations across the state. His op-eds have appeared in dozens of newspapers and he has also been the primary guest host for the “Take A Stand” radio show in Asheville.
Knight stated, “I am very pleased to have Chad Adams join our great line up of conservative talk show leaders and am sure he will take our morning radio show to the next level of excellence serving southeastern North Carolina.”
