Bryan Alonso joined WWAY in October 2025 as a multimedia journalist.
A first-generation college graduate, Bryan earned his bachelor’s degree in electronic media broadcasting from Appalachian State University. While at App State, he gained hands-on experience covering a wide range of stories, from local news to college sports, at the university’s student-run station.
Outside of work, Bryan enjoys watching movies, soccer, and professional wrestling. His favorite soccer club is Paris Saint-Germain.
