Jessica Keisling has joined the WWAY team to fill-in for Donna Gregory, who is out on medical leave. Jessica is a proud military veteran. She spent 8 years on active duty service in the United States Navy as a Fleet Marine Force Corpsman with overseas deployments to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where she worked in the maximum security detainee camps that held some of the most dangerous terrorists in the world; and the southern Helmand Province of Afghanistan in a Shock Trauma Platoon.
While on active duty, she also served as the lead Command News Anchor and has 5 years experience in Public Affairs and the journalism arena in Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for her work in this field.
After being honorably discharged from the service, Jessica used her G.I. Bill to put herself through college where she graduated Suma Cum Laude with a degree in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis from Norwich University.
You may recognize Jessica from the fitness industry. She was the first IFBB Bikini Professional Athlete, winning NPC Nationals in 2009 in Miami, Fla. earning her Pro card in the fitness industry and helped to pioneer the Bikini division. She has appeared in multiple Fitness Magazines.
Jessica is happily married to her husband Steve, who is an active duty Lieutenant Colonel Marine Raider with Marine Special Operations Command. They are the proud parents of two daughters.
